+1 to a macro, (likely a pest macro), cyano is epiphytic meaning it likes to grow on things. algae is a prime target
diatoms. it is, they don't all settle and form the same way.
+1 to cyano. taking the lights off will kill it, but the nutrients will remain and it is likely to come back. better to beat it.
