    could also be ur tank has matured, mangroves are not a fix all for nitrates

    The only way to really make them go away is find the true cause.....cheato and mangroves will work but wont really make that large of a difference....

    I think GSP would be fine, even if your still gonna use it to clean, they are very hardy and if it takes off it would look cool! I used to have a gsp...
