LOL. That should be interesting to see how it reacts.
Ah...I don't really feed it. I just let the algae be, as it doesn't really get out of control. I figure it's food for the snails/crabs. I haven't fed...
Last time I test, I had undetectable levels of NO3 and PO4. But I am now getting some soft brown tufts of algae on rocks which means I have a source...
I'm no good with diseases either. It almost looks like just a color morph...when I took the slimer out of the tank to frag it, the frag was brown...
Thanks, Ben. Despite my water parameters, I am still getting tissue necrosis on some of my corals. I am going to test again this evening. This...
Thanks! :) Yes, I've seen some BB tanks on RC and NR get TOTM. You could just to a decorative layer of black sand for aesthetics. I agree though,...
The build is coming a long great, reefbruh...nice to see you were able to salvage the tank.
How long were you gone for? Was it fed in that time?
Awesome tank, Sushi Girl! Following along...thinking about a macro algae tank/tidepool as a dorm tank.
Crawled up the back glass and then onto the intake :P

Nice update, though, Adam.

I feel the need to address this. Wet skimming is a good way of basically 'eliminating' water changes. You can replace the water (that is skimmed...
Looks like a Catalina goby Awesome tank. What are the dimensions?
I agree with above. The last one is a combo of radioactive dragon eyes, eagle eyes, and what appears to be a kind of palythoa.
Yay, GSP! :D :P It looks like an astrea to me. I have one that's about an inch or so across. The brown/tan/white ones are good. Pink ones are bad.
I would recommend keeping lights on for 8-10 hours daily. Then have your 'fuge lighting run while tank lights are off.
