I go see this thing today at 6. Crossing my fingers, if the scratches are minor, I think I may get it. Has anyone used this kit or know someone...
Thanks! Seems like a lot of work but may be worth it. I'm going to look at the tank today to see if it's something worth working on.
I don't agree with inches to gallons. JMHO. With adequate filtration, flow, rock, and so forth, along with regular water changes, you should be...
I know :) Just a little funny quote from Surf's Up where a penguin steps on a Fire Urchin and breaks off a bunch of its spines. lol
"Stepped on me? Are you kidding? This guy was dancing on me! I mean just look at this, broken, broken, gone, gone, broken, broken, broken... "
No worries. This has dual internal overflows with bulkheads and plumbing included.... so it kind of caught my eye :)
Where? All the LFS around here I've seen are like $300-400 for a 120. Tank alone. Drilled, bulkheads, overflows, etc. included the tank alone is...
Cool. I'm just hoping that they'll be easy to remove, I don't want to get something that will be hopeless. Kinda want to be educated before I take...
Any good kits / removers that folks have had experience here with? For this price it seems like a good deal just for the tank alone.
Ah, I'm not selling it - I'm looking to buy it - lol. Was just trying to get folks opinions.

How easy is it to repair scratches in acrylic? Would anybody think this is a good deal? I'd be building a new stand for the tank. Edit - not...
How's this coming along man? Pics ? :cheesy:
Good info on this! I'll make sure to check them out. I hope to set up a coldwater system in the next year or so. Due to the extraordinary chiller...
I run carbon in a Poly Reactor and it does a great job with the water. I just dropped the reactor in the sump, it came with a very small pump so the...
Or just move to a 20 long or larger tank :) I wouldn't worry about which 10g too much, the glass is thin and won't make much difference.
Not too late to drain, drill, install bulkheads, and fill ;)
Pretty decent. I'd buy it for $80. If you plan on only doing a mantis with LR you should be fine. Keep in mind that some mantis are small while...
8x80. Also, PC will never equal T5's. Don't skimp on your initial lighting purchase or you will regret it later when you can't keep the corals...
Dang, that's harsh. How are you going to get that water off the floor? That's one of my worst fears. Karma to you and good luck with everything....
