    You could always just buy 1 mp40 and later add the other. One could work for you...but you'd lose the random flow aspect that makes syncing vortechs...

    I agree with 2 MP40's over the 10's. I have 2 10''s on a 36" long tank, and it is plenty. However, anything over 48" I would opt for the 40's....
