    As RapidLED sells Cree diodes, I'm somewhat confused by your question. I think the RapidLED par30 also uses Cree diodes. I forget what brand diodes...

    You'll need a small brush to clean the neck out if it does ever get gunked up though, as I can't fit my finger in it. No big deal.
