sorry for your loss:( i really like naso tangs. I do like the scape!
how large is the aquarium?
what other fish do you want?
clove polyps. or just get a small rock and place it in the middle of your sand bed and then it can't takeover.
what about the orange sea star on liveaquaria?
a dwarf lion might eat your fish or\and inverts. I think a yellow or bristle tooth tang would work well. I like wrasse and dwarf angelfish to.
awesome. I went to a wendys in the middle of nowhere and they had a huge 150 gallon plus tank with tons of FW fish.
and if you want reef safe starfish try looking for micro brittle stars!;D
you sure? fosters and smiths says its 15x15.5x17which also includes the back area because the RC tank volume calculator says it's 17 gallons.
do you really REALLY like your starfish? id you don't you can trade him for a monti frag and then follow the spotlight on a coral idea:)

3 firefish in a 14g with a goby is probably to many fish IMO. what about using a acropora/stylophora\pocillopora and monti with clown gobies and acro...
a species tank, one for coral one for invert one for fish. or a fuge for a larger tank.
my blenny will bite me if I get to close to him.
