    Ya I used that floss too... but I wanted to reduce operating costs and maintenance as much as possible. I hated changing out floss every 3-4 days....

    Just make sure the carbon is not being beat to death, it will dissolve in heavy flow. I used to use very fine floss... now I just clean my skimmer....

    First... pods are everywhere... no real need to dose them, they will multiply. I don't use any floss.... but you have rubble and it needs to stay...
