    Sounds like copepods or amphipods. Google them and look at the pics to see if that is what you have.

    What about a peristaltic pump? Not cheap but will definitely work with 20ft head. BRS Top Off Doser (50 mL Per Minute) - English

    Sounds like they are establishing dominance. The dominate one will turn female. Keep an eye on them and make sure they don't get injured too bad....

    An iodine based dip is your best bet. Just make sure the jelly doesn't get loose in the tank and spread to other coral. If you can, frag it to remove...
