Has your tank finished cycling yet? Even when it finishes, you def shouldn't add those three fish all at once. Maybe one a week at most.
Also, what are you using to test the mag, cal and alk? Usually I see the alk measurement as dKh.
The alk you are doing is precipitating out as soon as you put it in. Try diluting it out further before you put it in the tank, and dosing it slower...
I bet they resold the fins for much more than they paid to someone for soup, as sad as that is.
Here's a link to that thread, http://www.3reef.com/forums/i-made/tank-tops-bottoms-122139.html. There are a couple of sites if you scroll down.
HMM I know there are at least three, I'll do some digging and see what I can find.

Check craigslist for cheap tank, no point in tying up too much cash in a hospital tank ;).
He'll wipe a tank out that size pretty quick, keep your eye on him. This is by no means a death sentence for him. Just be ready to act if he takes a...
How long has the tank been up and running? At the very least I would be supplementing pods as I believe the tank is fairly new? You may want to try...
What else is in the tank with him?
I would leave the temp alone and really wouldn't worry about the lights. I've heard that they are really hard to get to eat and eventually starve....
I like the above suggestion! I too am curious what else you have in there for compatibility? I've been looking for a "blue" for my tank with not...
RO/DI is neutral and will take on the characteristics of the water it is added too. No need to add buffer to top off water.
Raising the temp will speed up the life cycle of ich and possibly help rid the fish of it sooner. However, raising the temp could also stress out the...
I see why, but if you turn off the return, then nothing can flow down the overflow (just like on a power outage, nothing being pumped, nothing being...
