You really shouldn't have a valve on the drain side, the proper way to throttle flow is on the return side. It's a flood waiting to happen.
My biggest concern would be that any restriction increases the chance of a blockage. Are you placing these on the drains by chance?
The initial cost would be a little higher, but if you factor in the costs after purchase, like the cost of replacement bulbs every 6 to 12 months...
If there is nothing in the tank you can take it to where it needs to be, if not do it slowly over a few days. What are you using to measure the...
I could use a pic, it would help a ton. First thing I see wrong is you don't want valves in the drain side, it's a recipe for disaster. What kind of...
What are the params? How much flow?
Have you built a durso yet?

From my time in saltwater, the only thing I have learned for sure, is that when it comes to clowns, there are no guarentees.
As in food or other corals? They do have some fantastic sweepers lol
Hard to tell but I do like the ricordea as a possibility. Other than that I would say is a brown thing next to an asternia star!
GHA is etter than the heater or like mine, the back lower left corner of the tank lol.
Even better just throw on a bathing suit, hop in and chase em into it! lol jk. I really don't get it, I have a pair in my tank and they are hopeless....
LOL I was thinking about that as I was typing, you must have mentioned it on another thread.
I find they are fairly hardy, but be aware I also have found them to be aggressive. What do you have for filtration? What are the params? are they...
