    As CBS said you will also need to check to make sure you have the skimmer the right depth in the water, you should be able to find those specs online...

    If it has been cleaned it will take some time to get rebroken in. May take a week or two to build up the slime on the inside of the skimmer before it...

    What do you have for flow/powerheads in the tank? When you said it was in the front two corners I immeadiately thought you might have dead spots.
