Just a question and don't mean this in a bad way at all, just wondering. Wouldn't there be more chance of something harmful being in the filter media...
+1 On the above, when I read the original post it sounded like a major amount of substrate got stirred up. But if you left sand and water in the tank...
If you are treating the fish with meds, it will also kill any ich that may be present in the water. If so then go ahead and use water from DT.
Well hopefully it will only be a small cycle and the livestock all pull through. It's not that old, so may not be too many harmful things in the sand...
No but probably find one for $100, and at least it's a little piece of mind IMO. But if you're up to the task, go for it.
Great drawing, love it. My drawing skills never got much past stick men, wish I could draw though lol.
How old was the tank before move? How big? How much substrate got stirred up? This could cause the tank to go through another cycle.
I've never done it but been told that you need to separate the panels to reseal it properly. But a wider bead may do it. I would be afraid of it...

I was just wondering that, can it be used just like a laptop? I don't play games, but watch dvds? burn cds? I guess I'll have to do some reading.
Wouldn't it be nice if a lionfish got them lol, they have no clue. Not to mention the skimmer goes nuts, who knows what was on the hands.
Or coming home from work to an empty aquarium and a dry floor. I still can explain that one. Must have soaked through the concrete I guess. Also...
Have you had your LFS recheck your results? Its possible you have a bad test.
That sounds a little better! lol. I was thinking you were gonna turn that tank over like a 1000x an hour.
The last pic almost looks like a small shrimp. But I really have no idea what it is, hard to tell from the picks.
Only thing that comes to mind other than online, might be a pool/spa place, possibly pond supply. But those are kinda long shots for bulk heads.
