Go with food grade; BRUTE containers fit this bill. They won't leach anything into the water, nor are they prone to getting brittle with age.

Personally I like >50x for acros, and I feel you could use quite a bit more flow before trying some SPS.
Might it have too much flow? If the polyps get torn on their skeleton, is a sure way to kill the polyp.
