I'm a little confused here... If I may, why was the male flame parted with as opposed to the red velvet? The female flame will probably turn male...
:disappoin Far, far from it my friend. I could name 30-40 species if I was so inclined.
It's like a night light. Agree, hard to really see it in that picture.
^ Insanity indeed. Reef empire has an insane one for sale right now for $1k. There's a thread in his forum:...
Ah, good. No, I wouldn't say you were lucky as a yellow "coris" is not a coris wrasse at all (genus); they're a Halichoeres wrasse. A McCosker's...
Not terribly over-priced, on the high end, but not out of the ballpark. $150 would have been better. They may eat your crabs, and possibly snails,...
All wrasses are prone to jumping. Keep one without a screen top and you're playing roulette. Also, 6 lines are notorious for being a huge bully....
I have my reactor pump placed close to the overflow drain in the sump, and the reactor outlet placed into the return pump section of my sump.
The coris part concerns me as well. If you truly have a red coris wrasse (not a yellow, or a green for that matter) it'll be a terror on a reef tank...
I don't see how it would be, but I don't have any direct experience with either. Based off what they both contain, I don't see an issue.
Just guessing here, but a frogspawn is an aggressive LPS. I'd bet it was stinging the $#!^ out of the clams mantle.
Looks like a "few" corals to me. :D On a serious note, how do you maintain levels? That's a whole lot-o-coral, and clams need a lot of calcium...
Yup, sounds right to me. Wrasses are curious yet timid. He'll most likely show up in another day or two. However, what else is in the tank...

I'm just saying any rock in there is going to leach them for a little bit. All that rock is porous, and it'll take a few days/water changes for them...
I imagine most colonies 7 years old would be massive. Looks very good though. I've always liked those oceanic tanks. I almost picked one up once,...
Live rock is leaching them back in...
T5's will support zoas just fine, however those bulbs probably won't due to the low wattage.
Certainly wouldn't hurt. I'd do as big of a WC as I could first though.
Successful upload, and yes, zoanthid.
