    Word of advice on this subject...add the sand with a PVC tube and a funnel...direct it to the bottom of the tank evenly and slowly to try to combat...

    I didnt say that Garlic or food additives kill ich.....but it does make the fish healthier and able to fight it off...which in turn will eventually...

    I have 6 Tangs in my 265 and all of them have had ich at one point or another...and I still have 6 tangs..lol ;)

    if they continue to eat...they will live...IMO QT once they are established in a tank is an almost certain death sentence....just keep them fed...use...

    if you can disconnect it easily from the skimmer...it couldnt hurt...just blow it across the bottom

    No...it should be crystal clear....make sure its REALLY getting stirred...may have to add a pump....i use a mag 5 and a off brand pump that moves...

    I wouldnt put algicide in my tank personally.....dont care if it says reef safe....you should instead find the source and fix that...

    If he is eating leave him alone....I have an Achilles as well and i swear if i walk by the tank too fast he gets ich.... Dont go chasing him down....
