    Those look to be clove polyps. Anthelia and Xenia both do not have mouths and grow by absorbing nutrients from the water column while clove polyps...

    Even though it is illegal a lot of firefish are caught using cyanide still. It's very common with this fish. None of my other fish have been affected...
