    The guage of the ballast wire seems thicker than a pc cord.. is that ok

    Btw is safe to use the dimmer on this ballast with a 250w bulb. I was gonna dim it to 150w for acclimation

    Yep, plan on it. Starting off with 4 hours of light too! I have a dimmer on my ballast, too(lumatech). Can lower ouput to 150W.

    I'm sure there are studs. Wether I can mount them from them is another question. I'm gonna use anchors if not. The pendant only weighs 6 lbs.
