    You might want to look at the PRO this has a bent reflector around each bulb and will almost double the amount of light that goes into the tank.

    Rio skimmer malfunction?

    Try cleaning it with some vinegar, rise it and try again If there is oil from molding the plastic it will keep it from skimming

    I also think ph buffer is mainly bicarbonate which is what you use to raise ALK :) I just use backing soda (sodium bicarbonate) to raise my ALK....
