    Not all sponge is good, if it's white-pinkish and growing on top of the rock get rid of it.

    What happened to this coral?

    If you can, pull it out and look underneath for a small balck and white snail about 1/8" if nothing dip in frsha water (same ph) for about 10 second...

    Anthillia can grow quicker than Xenia. Galaxia and Bubble coral not necessarily invasive, but can kill everything in reach.

    One thing about the Carisea "Tahitian Moon", is it's sharp. Not recommended for soft bellied fish or burrowers. And you also need to be extra careful...

    They do the job, just keep in mind with lighting you get what you pay for. I have them myself, but the ballast are cheap-weigh about a pound....

    Look very close for Nudi's, spiders or under the Rock for sundial snails. If not could be something nearby irritating the polyps?

    You just need to chip off a small 1/8" piece, just enough to remove base and keep them from growing back.

    Take something like a small tip screwdriver and break the rock away below the base of the shroom, and yes they will sting other corals.

    If they'er running quickly they are more likely copods, nudi's are slow moving (slugs).

    Make sure you put jacks under your floor!

    Depending on builder (not law) some floor supports are 12"-18" 24" on center. 24" most of the time only has one 2x4 for support. always Good to look...

    Try slowly dropping your salinity to around 10.11 for a few weeks then slowly bring it back up. But slowly, Orr you'll get pop eye.
