i just upgraded to the reeflo dart had to move some things due to flow increase (3600gph at 0')
i would probably just get rid of it to be safe peppermint shrimp will get rid of them and keep them from coming back or a syringe and lemon juice...
i checked on that and it seemed to be fine i think it was the seal on the threads of the inlet connection, it might have just looked as the water was...
I have the pump stated above and i have a leak in the bottom of the impeller housing it is a knob of some sort that can be taken out im not to sure...
i've seen, at least in a few tanks, nothing seems to touch it after about a 1/4 inch, you have to get in there your self at that point and trim it...
also forgot to add turbos are lawn mowers they will not knock stuff over and they only eat the GHA when it is less than a 1/4 inch
GHA or green hair algae i had and got thru it lower nitrates lower phosphate get a couple of turbo snails and wait that is what worked...
