don't fear you can't do any harm until you place live things in there, foam on the top tells me you have no pump on the surface on the water moving...
do you use the uv on your reef tank? imo i would not use it, it kills all bact good and bad, imo they may have a place somewhere but, not in a reef...
well i'm like the rest, i can't get enough of them but, if you want them gone a copperband butterfly will do the trick or a longnose hawkfish.
