+1 to fro3 iodine is essential for the molting process, ive always used it and never had an issue but maybe ive just been lucky
Unfortunately they have a horrible surviveability rating in the aquarium, if you found one that eats sinking pellets then you may be in good shape...

I mostly dose with iodine for my clams, however i do intentionally underdose so as to avoid any possible risk of overdosing, I had 3 yellow tangs 2...

Just set your heater so it doesnt go below a certain point, if you have the money for a chiller get that too, temperature can throuw your tank...
