    Make sure the output of the skimmer is submerged. You can also add sponge or sock at the output.

    Usually the higher the pump is up on the water column the better it will work. I have the nw-200 moded and it produces alot of skimmate.

    Pick a Tang... any Tang

    My favorite tang is the powder blue (next fish I get) but I read its a bit sensitive. The one I would recommend if you dont have is a yellow tang....
