    thanks for the advice and what kind of uv do you have? I was thinking of just getting a cheap odyssea one and see what that did, and if it works good...

    I do run carbon and I have a 100 micron filter sock but my water still just doesn't seem to be clear i don't know maybe im just paranoid hehe ;D

    I was thinking about getting a uv sterilizer for my tank but I was wondering if I could put it on the water coming into the sump from the main tank...

    paint is fine inside the tank too as long as you let it completely bry like 2 days I would say.

    I would paint it, I just painted my 5.5. but my 75 came with a big black sheet of acrylic siliconed on the inside =P but in my opinion painting looks...

    the watts are related to the amps like the 1 watts are up to .35 amps and the 3 wats are good up to 1 amp so the higher the watts the higher the amps...

    oh I forgot to add about $30 for the fans. (which are powered by a n64 power source :P) make sure you get some fans on the heatsinks. :)

    haha ya thats the way i was too and then I started seeing how much it would cost and it really wasn't that much more than what I wanted (6 bulb tek)...
