is that an octopus skimmer? I have reef octopus extreme 200, love that skimmer i have it mesh modded, really puts out the foam

the only gotcha i see might be in the skimmer, if it requires a certain amount of water level to operate in, most need about 4" or more

oh i didnt realize it was glass, but i think weld on would actually work
is the sump and baffles acrylic? best bet is to use acrylic cement, especially if the sump is not being used at the moment

nice you will love the ro/di, i have never had any algae bloom issues after using ro/di unit, very little in diatoms
