    no cause only use ro/di water. Most common plumbing uses copper pipes and some trace can get back into water, while not bad for human consumption...

    PVC and bleach

    bubbles?

    bubbles will go away with time. maybe you need to increase flow in those areas. but bubbles should only be O2 it should all be good.

    Frozen food gone bad = high nitrates?

    maybe freezer burnt food was bad and nothing ate it thus leading to decaying items in your tank decay = nitrates. just a theroy

    over flow is where water flows from top of tank into box or drain. It help to skim off top of water gunk and also can keep fish from getting sucked...
