    Generally the tank you use for sump is going to be as large as you can fit. I would say you cant really go too big. You will need an overflow box....

    Does your tank have a center brace, if so that MH could possibly melt it, if it gets hot enough. Just a thought, i could be wrong though.

    I have the eshopps overflow box and it works fine. power goes out it stops, power come back on the siphon stays and the water keeps overflowing....
