Purigen make there own bags just for this, any store that sells it in the larger amount should have the bag.
i ordered 4 of it when i had it shipped for the 25, not worth just getting one. if you have a fish thats not eating its well worth it.
i would say start with the salt you plan to use.
coralife seems to do really well in this test. i just looked the price of its not bad either.
not sure since my uv has been on my tank since shortly after set up. when i had what i believed was a slight bacterial bloom, it was a couple weeks...
turning off a uv and skimmer makes perfect sense to me. i have a uv and turn it off when i dose eco balance. i always shut it down for a few hours...
true when i did ask for it they didn't even know what it was.
drtims stuff normally says to turn the uv off for 48 hours after adding. maybe message him and see if thats the case with what you ordered
its what live aquaria and a few others use to train fish to eat prepared foods, i had to order it on line. no stores around here carry it. not sure...

sounds like a bacterial bloom to me. you might want to look into some live bacteria, drtims has the stuff called clear up for reefs, thats meant...
