    could you take a pic of the pump....also is the pump venturi style, you may not have the venturi piece all the way in..if it has one..not real sure,...

    so its finally happened.. the tank for the last day and a half has been reading 0ammonia and 0 nitrites... nitrates are 10... let the stocking...

    i would do the sand also.. there could be spores in the sand as well...but i really dont know much about it..never had that problem
