    Is there any rotting or decaying tissue?For no bigger than he is,he could shrink up that much when shedding or unhappy with location/flow.

    No,you're correct,it's growing from abundant nutrients possibly along with a lack of flow.Nutrient reduction and increased flow are the remedy.:)

    Do you test for phosphates?Cyano is a result of excess nutrients,so you're on the right track to fix it,i've also found a good cuc and increased flow...
