    Pumps failing does suck, but I always recommend having a backup. You never know, especially on your return pump.. I have a backup for all my pumps....

    Reef Creation MR-1 or a Reef Devil? I have a Reef Devil Deluxe & it works great, but I would go with the MR-1. It's a lot easier to clean.
