    oh see the tube you have coming off of the top of the air intake. i believe thats an overflow tube that fits on under the skimmer cup for if you want...

    not sure, but i don't think a skimmer has any effect on mag. i have only heard it effecting iodine i believe. if I'm wrong someone please correct me....
