with the stand and the tank at 300.00 I would get it and drill holes in it your self or just put a HOB overflow onto it and run with it ;D
as long as it was close enough to the light I dont think you would have a problem.
it overflowing could be a result of it being in to much water. teh noise I have no idea other than the impeller may need to be replaced or the pump...
what about rapid led? you would have to build it but you can make the color however you want

you could also refrigerate the pre mixed water in small incrments to help just in case ;D
