Gosh those are nice.....maybe I will hop on the SPS bandwagon. You evil people, look what you've done to me with all of your nice frags!!
I had a frag like that recently. It took almost 1 1/2 weeks for them to open up. They just kind of sat there looking all scraggly for a while but...
:( Come to the East coast with it!!
It's a Florida Regal Sea Goddess nudibranch.
I haven't written in here in a little while. Time to convince the hubby that I need to go to the LFS for some "inspiration." :shifty:
I would love to see something like this at the Dulles Expo Center here in Northern VA. I wonder what it takes to set something like this up...
Could be fish oil. Probably means you need to break surface tension so that the skimmer can pick it up. You'll get better O2 exchange as well.
LMAO at the guinea pig noises! Reminded me of the ones I had.
Awesome tank!
I missed last weeks episode, was it good?
Lol!!
I love this series! I'm thinking about actually buying the series along with a couple of others from Discovery Channel.
I'm letting the algae stay on the back glass because I don't have the back painted or covered so it helps hide the cords hanging back there, LOL.
I really would love to get a wavemaker but they're so expensive :(
Awesome. I was afraid that because it's about 1/2-3/4" thick it would be difficult.
Cool! I'll do that :D
Thanks for the thoughts guys! Maybe I can take a band saw to it.
I never really planned on adding any SPS to the tank so I'm figuring it out as I go, ya know?
I don't use one now but was looking at getting something simple like: Aquarium Systems Natural Wave Wavemaker I had a cheapo powersweep that...
The disk is 3" across or so. It is a large disk. I have T5 lighting (pockets are not deep enough for MH just yet) so the frag is definitely up high...
