    If I get another float valve I'll attachable a ball valve to cut flow do that I can remove the ATO when nesesary.

    Yeah the valve was submerged in water once a day for a week for a bout 3 minutes each time to feed...

    I just thought the float valve would be better.... I think the reason it split is because when I unplugged the pumps to feed and do water changes ,...

    Yeah it usually is but when I turn off the return pump in my biocube to do a water change or feed, the water rises a few inches above it.

    I would add some food to the tank and if there's no ammo/trite spike in two days, add fish.
