Great news! My lfs fixed the float valve with some super glue and acrylic solvent. Also, I now have enough money to but one panorama pro strip!!!!...
If I get another I'll remove it everytime I feed just to make sure,

Yeah it usually is but when I turn off the return pump in my biocube to do a water change or feed, the water rises a few inches above it.
