Yep. Only one, but it's something I wanted for awhile now and just bought last week.
It's not your fault, but thanks for the sympathy. Will iodide solution work as a dip? Will it need to be diluted?
Well I think it's starting to take off now. There are small patches of it popping out everywhere on my glass.
I have only had the light for two weeks, but I have already noticed a color difference in some of my coral colonies and I finally have an "out break"...
Well that's not encouraging. My frag is pretty large (4 inches in diameter or so) and I have yet to see any visible damage. Hopefully I caught this...
I found some sacks and removed them as well as the nudi itself. I don't have lugol's, but I have iodide. Is that a substitute?
Definitely a monti eating nudi. Did a quick search and came up with this:
I'll have to take a look. At first glance i didn't see anything. Should I dip the coral? If so, in what?
Hmmm possibly. Didn't appear exactly like the imAges on google, but that's expected.
Found him on the glass near what I think were egg sacks. I just bought a monti a week ago...
Friend or foe? Completely white. Can't get a pic. Thanks.
I'm limited in options because I'm looking for a reef safe and a non-pod requiring bottom dweller.
That's a neat looking fish.
I'm in the same boat. I'm not sure if he/she went through with their idea of adding boiling water to the tank to kill off the ich, but if he/she did,...
I agree. Great touch.
Why don't you just remove the rock with the undesirables and replace it with new rock? That way you don't stir up the sand bed, you don't need to...
How do you keep ammonia out of the system? Daily water changes?
All of which are reef safe?
Cool. Any other low dwelling fish suggestions that don't require a dedicated pod population?
Nice looking fish!
