no you need to be testing for ammonia, nitrite when that is gone it means the cycle is complete. you should also be watching nitrate as if that...

I would pull it out. The live rock will have die off on it and start the cycle by itself and enough bacteria to complete it rather rapidly.
groupers eat what fits in their mouths basically you can no longer keep small fish or shell-less inverts.
nassarius are supposed to be basically useless as they are carnivores, they also decimate fauna in your sandbed like sand stars do.
I would not use the food or dead fish method with out live rock in the tank you are just asking for a algae bloom if any light is on the tank.

How long has the 90 been set up? transfering stuff from a cycled tank will speed up the process hugely but you may still be having some fluctuations...
