    The ATI's weren't going completely out, they were dimming to color similar to that of moon lights. What could be causing the short? It ran 4 bulbs...

    This is the longest they have been on and they don't seem to be getting hot. Strange that they have only done it with the stock actinics in.

    I'll try it. If I turn the unit off for a few minutes, the ATI bulbs turn back on in full.

    Yep. Same wattage as the stock bulbs. I ordered the bulbs online.

    The stock actinics weren't going out, only the ATI bulbs. The light unit is a month old.

    Just put them in and they have now faded to almost cmpletely off. It happens instantaneously. Unit feels a little hotter than normal too.

    T5 reflectors?

    I understand that. Im asking relative to my design. It's essentially 4 individual reflectors welded together to form a continual piece.

    What's the advantage to individual reflectors? Much of a difference? Mine is a large continual piece that looks like to interconnected "M"s....

    I would even consider adding to the entire back 1/4 of the glass. A tank at one of the LFS has done that and it looks fantastic.
