its a huge difference, my 30 was jam packed and now everything looks like tiny frags...but i like it..i got some ideas with the extra space.. plus...
after a 1 year old tank i wouldnt use transfer the sand bed..sand is cheap enough to start fresh than risking crashing the tank after its been...
i just upgraded my 29 to a 40 three days ago..i got a huge food safe bucket, took as much water as i could and put it in the bucket, then started...
yeah idk..im sure one of the pros on here will chime in..
i just got a reef octopus and really like it..but like already said, they are all great skimmers..
Not sure how to help but i know .01 tds will not hurt you any..
my torches heads just split in half.. the pics arent showing up for me..
pcs 12 hours a day..and halides around 8-9... but make sure you acclimate your corals with that fixture

all my research said to introduce it last, so i did..the flame has never gone after any fish nor has any other fish messed with it..i think it knows...
mine has never given me a reason to suspect it..i have heard a few bad stories but as a whole i have heard more that didnt harm them..i have heard...
yeah this is an amazing tank..the guys is a regular of reef central..his whole thread build is in there..i think its called like thailand tank or...
haha yeah it keeps the corals and fishes at ease during the transfer..give it a shot next time you move one, worked pretty good...lol
