In time my friend. Look for a dusting of brown soon.
Well you should do more comparisons and there are more than "some" reefs reaching 82 degrees. We need to be cognitive of what we keep. Keeping corals...
Set it lower in the tank and see how it responds. 82 isn't too hot, check out some average reef temperatures for comparison. We tend to keep temps...
82 degrees in a tank is fine.
Better than Christmas morning.
Thank you, thank you. Need to figure out a good combo now.
Oh man, that sounds like heartbreak.
I think I need to lower my mushrooms. I added a cleaner shrimp today and I will hopefully be adding two clowns soon.
Nice, I like them so far. I just need to figure out a good bulb combination. I will be growing some soon, hopefully (4 mushrooms in there right now)....
I want to, but the back glass piece won't fit with the light stand hanging on the side.
Pics in order: 2x 10000k, 2x Actinic, 4x combo, and moon
T-5 HO with 2x Actinic, 2x 10000k bulbs and moon lights. 3 cords and 3 switches.
A 5 gallon water change and a 3 gallon top off got it down to 4.5. Another water change should get it into the ideal 2.5-4 range.
Define cold.
I don't want to raise it. Its about twice as high as it needs to be.
Added baking soda to adjust pH awhile back. That's undoubtedly the cause. I won't be doing that again. I just need to get it down.
Brand new kit.
