    I have had a Aggressive 55G set up for about 2 months (a little under) and I just got a sweet deal on a 70G that I want to move my 55G...

    U may go thru a cycle...i would make sure u keep an eye on ur params...if they are healthy hardy fish they will probably make it thru any small cycle...

    You can buy live sand, but its still going to cycle..just faster usually. I wouldnt use gravel IMO

    Yeh i would say to just keep up on the water changes, and get a vaccum and suck that stuff out...cut down the time you run the lights while trying to...

    couldn't of said it better myself...but if you dont wanna scrub ur rock to get rid of the bubble algae you can get an emerald crab, for the hair...

    i would think about maybe trying to buy a small fighting conch...it will help keep the sand bed stirred...u may have to replace him once he grows,...

    what do you plan on keeping in the tank? if you plan on going reef, i would ditch the canister for a refugium set-up... maybe use the canister to run...

    green cyano...its a bacteria...usually caused by overfeeding. Nassarius snails only eat food particles and stuff..get some different snails for algae...
