Wow!:)
Yeah I wasn't expecting it to be a quikie. I'll go ahead and test and add some food to the tank.
Another option would be to use cheaper salt and then dose calcium or whatever To get coraline.
It's 100% dry rock. Not sure about nitrates, should I test for them to see? No additives.
Not for a fowlr. Reef crystals are great for reef tanks because they are packed with calcium and trace elements. With a fowlr you just need something...
If you have $$$ then I would look into vortech pumps. They can be used as wave makers.
I agree 110% with the two aquaclears one as a fuge thing.
Since its a fowlr then good 'ol instant ocean will be fine.
So I added a shrimp to my 29 8 days ago. Over the course of about 4 days the ammonia raised to 1.0 and then leveled. My current params at 8 days are...
[IMG] Nitrite is at 2!!!!!!!! What the?!
Ammonia still at 1.
Here in north Texas we have a beautiful area called mount Texas. Highest point in the whole state.[IMG]
The Chinese will steal this technology.
I dig it!:D
Here's the financial plan... After cycle: add two clowns Three weeks later: buy bulbs for light Three weeks later: buy a bunch of frags from petco...
I use egg crate in my fresh tanks. The only issue is sometimes it makes shadows.
I'd go with a mesh top. More gas exchange, less light loss and no salt creep.
Base rock FTW
Lol correct. Anything can host a clown. Rocks, powerheads, corals...
I like skull candies.
