That's what I always do. Contrary to popular belief, old tank water is not magically too dirty to reuse. It is, however, mature and stable.
Agree with both, it will be fine. One alternative though, if you want, is to continue running the HOB on your DT until you get an in-sump replacement.
I've never actually used a PAR meter before, but judging from my coral's reaction to the switch, yes, absolutely.
Don't be surprised if your nem retreats under a rock for a while; it may take some time for it to fully acclimate to that much PAR after being under...
Agree with all the above. FWIW, actual grow bulbs for terrestrial plants, both fluorescent and incandescent, are fairly cheap, as are shop fixtures...
As already mentioned, make sure none have the black spot; they're the more aggressive ones. Sorry to say, but that's the only experience I've had.
With my 29H reef w/no sump, fuge or skimmer, and no dosing: 10% biweekly.

With a FOWLR, you only need to change water to remove nutrients, otherwise you're just wasting time and salt. What are your Nitrate and Phosphate...

Actually, the shrimp counts as part of your CuC, so only the fish would add to the bioload. And yes, you should be fine with that.

It may be a few days before you actually see much of him. Once he's accustomed to his new environment though, he'll only hide at night.
