well most people put it in filter socks, but i just like it to be open in the chamber where the pads are, i think it works better that way...either...
if you do decide to try it, FYI it is not actually a sponge, more like little pepples or rocks, kind of wierd.
well there ya go, get a phosphate "sponge" from Kent Marine, i just put a Nitrate Sponge into my little HOB filter and it took maybe a week or so and...
thats an incredible difference, it is very possible that it is shedding, looks really nice in the before shot, i would give a couple days and see...
