yeah water changes wont be a problem, i do them every week in my other tank..its only take 2 seconds to siphon out water and pour new in..

they have apps for controllers..basically u can run ur tank from ur phone..turns lights change flow from phone and whatever else depending the...
my buddy does 5 gallons every week in his 110..just depends how clean your water is..
