yeah my petsmart had them for 10$ a bag and i bought 5 of them..im set for a while..
im gonna add some more sand but thats it as far as supplies.. and the scape is going to messed with..gotta get more sand to make everything more...
so i got water and rock and sand and powerflow in the twenty gallon just now..pics will come in the morning.. im gonna use 110w of power...

from what i have read, most tanks should have a higher nitrate reading at night..but im not sure if its enough of a difference to worry about it.....

yeah i have always done them at night since most corals are asleep
i honestly havent test my water in forever..no problems in my tank..the only thing i measure daily is salinity.. we just figured doing water changes...
maybe since baton rouge has like a million and half people..it really seems like everyone has a reef tank..and frags full of zoas are like 5$..ora...
wow..no way could i be in this hobby there..hopefully i never have to move when i graduate in may..
so me and my buddy that owns a fish store were talking and we agreed that doing water changes at night removes more nitrates from the water...
110 gallon tanks are averaging around 800$ stocked to the T...Tek fixtures, everything the whole nine yards, with corals and fish on our local reef...
