    I've lost 1 ballast, 1 Fan, and 1 LED since install in Feb. I did get the Ballast replaced but getting a hold of Oceanic was a pain in the butt....

    Reducing pipe size in overflow

    Is the inside threaded? if not you could glue a straight piece of PVC that can be reduced If you didn't want to do that you could just down size...

    Not a good Idea. First in an aquarium we always create more waste through feeding then in the real world. The ocean has far more mechanisms in place...
