I have found the greens to require the least. I have yet to get a hold of a red acro. I know they exist, they are just stupid rare.

You don't need to raise the sponge to do that. There is another riser tube inside that one that you can raise.

You really don't want to move the sponge higher than the output tube. It will clog with debris over time and cause your internal water to rise....
