    go to the beach, also i would wash the sand you get really good in fresh water and then dry out, to kill any parasites. you could go to the hardware...

    i think the bacteria may be in your basement so cleaning the tub won't do much, im guessing it is high in humidity like most reefers homes.

    its because the ballast that comes with the systems are weak. i think bluelife bulbs work based on this thread....

    well filter pad goes on top. then comes biomedia(ceramic rings) you don't need to use ammonia and nitrite remover your bacteria on the biomedia...
